Attended one-day handgun clinic instructed by TonyF & Steve from fireinstitute on Sunday (6/29). Very impressed and pleased with the course & instructors. Excellent for the new shooter interested in learning proper safety, and a strong base of fundamentals to build on. I have been shooting for around 15 years and found the course very educational. It was my first formal training; I will be attending another fireinstitute class in the near future. At $45, it was money and time VERY well spent. I would recommend it to anyone.

I too was surprised at what I learned (Took a class earlier in the year). Not being new to the firearms field, I went just for my betterhalf. HECK, I almost learned as much as she did.

Very good instruction. I highly recommend them. Great place to start if you have never had any really good training before.

+100 to Fire Institute

I also attended the 6/29 course and I can't say enough about it. The instructors, Tony and Steve, conducted the course in a very professional, yet fun, manner.

One part that really left an impression on me was their practice of the safety rules. I've seen some instructors on TV and video talk about safety, but when you see them in action they are a little sloppy in practice. That was not the case with Tony and Steve. Every single time, in every aspect, the rules of safety were diligently followed, they did practice what they preached.

In addition, they were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in their instruction and advice, regardless of the student's skill level.

I cannot think of a better way to spend a day and $45 to learn proper handgun shooting techniques. If you have never attended a formal training course, this is the place to start.

Thank you once again, Tony and Steve!!!!
