Seems to me somewhere in the UFA is something about the LTCF information not allowed to be made public. Did a quick scan of the UFA, but couldn't find it.
You might have a hard time finding this out. |

As mentioned above, status of licenses is statutorily forbidden.
Its at the tail end of §6111. Sale or transfer of firearms. http://www.acslpa.org/pa_uniform_firearms_act.htm

You could always make sure that that the sheriff of his county of residence has been notified of the events / terms.

This may be course of action. Thanks.

Yeah...something along the lines of "I know you cannot disclose the status of someone's LTCF, but because of the concern for my own safety, I wanted to be sure that you were aware of this info."

Like it really matters for a criminal...

That's not the point. The point is that if he does repeat offend, he can be charged with as many things as possible. If he retains a valid LTCF he could dodge an additional weapons charge because of this 'glitch'. There's not much that can be done, but what can be done is quite simple and inexpensive. No reason NOT to do it.

He could just apply for a new one unless the sheriff runs a 'character and reputation' revocation. |
