Side folder stock illegal on any gun imported after 1984?
I was just skimming through the cheaper than dirt catalog and noticed a side folder stock for an AK, not that I wanted one but I read the description and it says:
"Illegal to install on weapons imported after 1984, check local laws before ordering" Why are side folders illegal and under folders not?

Part of the so-called Assault Weapon Ban, which expired!
My son got one for his Saiga 12-gauge, semi-automatic shotgun, with a 10-round magazine (he wants to get the 20-round drum). Not illegal, don't worry.

Thanks, I knew the ban had expired .. that's why the description in this brand new catalog had me wondering.
