Speaking of Wacky Marylanders

Our Boy Scout troop just came back from a winter camp thingy in Maryland. The leader said something that I can't figure out. He said he is indeed glad to live in Pa since in Maryland even spud guns are illegal. anyone know anything about that. I never knew and was wondering.
