Default How much 7.62x39 FMJ ball do you normally buy in a year?

Boxes are 20 round boxes, if bought in small quantities (say, under 250 rds) please convert to 20 rd increments.

Thanks!

No entry for 0 rounds! I don't support commie calibers!

Serious on the first part, somewhat kidding on the second

I know you're kidding, but for the few that might make a false assumption, I don't espouse communist views just because I have experience with their weapons. In my case it was a direct consequence of the Cold War & running a few training programs for Uncle Sam.

It's all good.

When AIM had that mistake in the ads, selling the stuff for $80/case, I put in an order for 4k rounds. I was gonna buy the ammo first, then get the gun.

But it didnt work out that way... so no pinko-commie-bastard ammo for me.

So if its in mm then its commie, so you don't shoot 9mm's?? hehe

I wish that ad at AIM was real. I wonder how many orders they got. It was on every board... And secondly (dan might know since it is your degree) why would they keep the webpage from 2 years ago? At least they didn't pull the bait and switch like SG pulls and charge your card a higher price.

You're not completely out of luck. There's a boatload of high-quality 7.62x54R that seems unaffected by the war, hysteria and everything else. For about $150+shipping you can get a refinished bolt action rifle or carbine, and 880 rounds of decent ammunition. If you're waiting for the prices to fall any further, they probably aren't. I imagine most of the cost of these Mosins and 54R ammo is the shipping costs to get it in the US. We had this same scenario with German rifles, pistols & ammunition in the US right after the end of WWII. Look at what those those same items sell for now.

Your move.

Just curious about the Mosin Nagant's on AIM Surplus' site. Do you need to send them to an FFL or not? I was always under the impression that longarms didn't require a transfer?
