Default Inventory Software

Does anyone know the name of the software that allows you to inventory your firearms and import photos to the inventory. I am sure that I could come up with something on my own, but have no opposition to spending a few bucks for something professional.
Thanks in advance,
Jules

I use Gun Safe and it has all the stuff I need. The serial # thing did have me going but other than that its great. I haven't had any issues with spyware or anything. And the price is right. I think it was Grizz who mentioned it here.

If the images aren't critical, you could probably use MS Excel. You'll be able to define your own data fields, too. You can hyperlink to images, but they won't open in the spreadsheet unless you embed them into worksheet. I wouldn't recommend embedding images unless you like huge files or small images.

I have an Excel file that I keep just about everything important on. It has 27 sheets at this time. My budget, important numbers, passwords, passed years tax's, retirement funds, personal inventory, household inventory, etc.

I also have two Memory sticks. I Carry one in my purse and keep the other in the car. I update the car one about once a week and the purse one daily. On the same sticks I backup my Quicken and Family Origins software. Also my Internet Favorites file. There are also a whole bunch of pictures and word files I store on them.

But like I said, the important file is the Excel file. And my Estate Executor knows to look for it.

The size of the excel file will be driven by the size of the pictures. It won;t be any larger or smaller than any other program that incorporates pictures unless that program shrinks or compresses the file. FYI: I'm a Excel guru. I do things in excel that most "experts" didn't know excel could do. Hence my screen name I personally would do it in excel but then again I know how to program VBA like a mad dog
