Well I saw at least 15 rifles/shotguns at saylorsburg. Most where rifles, there was even some nice antique 1800 something long rifles there.

If you didn't buy it (and it's still there), I'd go back with cash in my hand. You could turn it around and make money on it if you wanted... but once you shot it, I'd wager you'd keep it. Here are two nice articles on the 336:

Thanks, 2 really good articles. I’m going to talk with him when I get the chance and find out what caliber, I’ve wanted a lever for a while. Who knows???

Occasionally at a Yard Sale, usually shooting or hunting accessories though.

Leesport Farmers Market, Flea Market, I have bought ammo, reloading equipment, and a decent Enfield #4 Mk 1 ($80), only had to replace the handguard and a couple of screws.

Usually see lots of shotguns, sometimes the prices are outrageous and the sellers won't budge on the prices even with a good offer...go figure. They don't seem to understand that that old J.C Higgins pump 12 guage that looks like it was drug behind a truck then allowed to rust all to hell is NOT worth $400 and $50 is actually a pretty good offer.

About a month ago I saw an old bolt gun in real decent shape, $100, I passed on it....went on the net once I got home and found out it was a French MAS 36. It was in good shape too. Wish I picked it up now.

I had an SKS up for sale at the garage sale Xringshooter had last year. There were several other guns there as well.

I've seen guns, ammo and reloading stuff at yard sales in the Bellefonte/Milesburg/Howard/Beech Ceek/Mill Hall areas fairly often. I've picked up some good deals from time to time. Down this way, guns aren't looked at much differently than tools, bowling balls, golf clubs or fishing rods.

I bought a .45-70 Trapdoor Springfield at a flea market about 35 years ago.
Cost all of $85.

I've seen rifles and shotguns around here at yard sales and flea markets, ammo and other do-dads.

I was at an auction this week and managed to pick up an old 91/38 (at least i think that is what it is)
