While I've never even fired a gun before, I've had an interest in handguns for some time and have now been getting seriously close to taking the plunge. I'm not a hunter - self defense and target shooting are my immediate interests.
Anyway, I've been browsing around for local ranges and shops and came across French Creek Outfitters. Looks like a pretty comprehensive place for a beginner - they sell, rent and have a pistol range. More to the point, on their front page, they list a "New Shooter Orientation Class" for 1 hour with a NRA Certified Instructor. It looks like it covers all the bases for someone like me. Is there anyone that has taken this class? As comprehensive as it seems, would FCO be a good place for a beginner to get started? -Mike |
