I saw those reviews on Midway and can say that I personally have not had any issues with the PACT products. PACT made the combo for RCBS before RCBS went with a one piece unit. Take a look at their warranty.

Its good to see you did not have any of the problems they did.

I was aware of there life time warranty. That was a big plus

I got a link from someone else on a review of the top 3 brands.http://www.6mmbr.com/powderdispensers01.html

One of the things that was mentioned was that the load cell on the scale only has a 1 year warranty. If this is true there warranty is misleading.

Never the less the combo seems to be a nice set up . And pact has it on sale for 199.00 and free shipping.

I think I will go ahead and order it.

Thanks for your help.

I initially was going to purchase the Pact scale and dispenser, but after reading the MidWay reviews went to the RCBS 1500 unit. I used it for about 1,000 rounds and it just stopped working, would not power up. I sent it back to RCBS with the required $10.00 check. They shipped a new scale and returned my check. So far no problems with the new unit.

Electronics are funny that way. One day it's working fine and the next it won't work at all. I suppose it's all a dice roll for us. Hopefully, PACT will stand behind their products and fix or replace it if you need to use the warranty.

Does anyone have the instructions on setting up the PACT dispenser?

I have a copy of the Dispenser Manual sent to me by Pact. Not sure about copyright laws so am reluctant to scan and post it here unless Admin says OK. Will mail a copy. Send me your address.

BTW, in talking to Pact tech, he said the way to tell if you have an upgraded "fast" dispenser is look at the bushings on the powder tubes in the bottom of the hopper. If they are the same color, it is an old "slow" dispenser. If they are different colors. it is an upgraded "fast " dispenser.

Geesh, talk about digging up an old thread.

I just used my PACT dispenser/scale on Sunday/Monday evening and it still works well.

I have been very happy with PACT products. I have a PACT chronograph as well.
