Default OC Question, Polling Place is in High School!

My polling place is in a fire hall in Muncy Creek Township, which is fine for me to carry. However my Girlfriend's polling place for in town Muncy is at Muncy Jr/Sr High School. And she wanted to know how it can be there since you can carry at the polls but not on school grounds which is a gun free zone. Any ideas or knowledge are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff and Jess
P.S.
She will not be OCing today when she goes to vote. She wants to but I said " Well i don't think its such a good idea..."

I would suggest *not* carrying to a school. This is a gray area in the law. Carrying for self-defense *should* count as a "lawful purpose", but there's no established caselaw on the subject.

It's a damn shame that we have gotten to the point that we depend on case law to confirm the clear meaning/language of the law as written before we consider it "safe" to do something clearly exempted from prohibition by law

But ultimately, awkx is correct. The MYTH that firearms are completely verbotten on school grounds has been firmly ingrained in the populaces memory. Therefor OC will almost surely (my speculation) land you before the man and likely detained/arrested to which YOU will become the aforementioned case law we desire

So while technically legal (exempted under "other lawful purpose") it is not practically so.

Thanks for the info guys. She informed me after work that they moved the polls back to the fire hall this year i'm not sure why but it seems like every time she goes to vote the polls are somewhere different in town.
