Default Hi,New Member here- have a GUN SAFE question

Hi all - glad to have found this forum -

I am trying to find a reasonably priced small safe (home use), one that I can keep near bed, maybe attach under a nightstand, sort of thing - to hold my Ruger Super Blackhawk - it's got an overall length of about 12", and I can't seem to find any safes that will fit it, except some really outrageously priced ones -

Anyone have a good source?

Thanks! THis forum is really great - I have been poking around a few days, and just joined - thanks again!

Welcome to the site!

Are you looking for a safe to keep the guns out of the hands of a kid? If so you might be better off just picking up a hard case with a lock... otherwise, I'll let some one else who knows more about safes step in

http://www.gunvault.com/gunvaultmulti/

I have, and like the "Multi" vault.

This one is sold at W-Mart:

Looks pretty much like the GunVault, although I don't know if the interior dimensions would work. Perhaps the handgun would fit at an angle?

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the search!

+1 for the multivault. I have one too and I really like it. I just measured the depth and it is just over 1 foot deep. If you had trouble fitting it you could turn the gun slightly diagonally and you should be good to go.
