Hi guys,
I have never been involved in politics. It was just too big of a beast to tackle for me. However, this year, I could no longer ignore the scary, self destructive path our country is on. I felt it necessary to become involved and do everything possible to protect our liberty and preserve our Constitution. Thus, I decided to run for Delegate to the Republican National Convention (RNC) along with 88 other freedom-loving, liberty-minded Pennsylvanians. For those unfamiliar with the primary process, delegates will be on the primary ballot and may be elected directly to the RNC. At the RNC, delegates 1) cast a vote for the Republican nominee and 2) help determine the party's platform. Myself, along with the other delegates that I'm promoting, believe in restoring the Republican Party's traditional values of Low Taxes, Small Government, Protecting our Borders, and Protecting _ALL_ of our inalienable rights, and most importantly Preserving our Constitution. If you believe in the Constitutional Rule of Law and are sick and tired of the government running your life and stealing from you, please consider voting for these delegates on election day: http://www.pa4cg.org/cand_gopdel.htm I can guarantee you that these delegates will make your voice heard at the RNC! You can visit this website to determine your Congressional District: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/...ress/?district We need less government, lower taxes, and more liberty! If you have any questions, leave me a PM or drop me an email. Thanks for your time and consideration! |

Realistically, McCain will get the nomination. However, there is still an extremely super slim chance of a brokered convention. But regardless, I can almost guarantee you that the national delegates will rock the convention. This might sound cliche, but this is just the beginning. This revolution will continue on without Dr. Paul as he had hoped for. From Dr. Paul's new book The Revolution: A Manifesto: "Truth is treason in the empire of lies... There is an alternative to national bankruptcy, a bigger police state, trillion-dollar wars, and a government that draws ever more parasitically on the productive energies of the American people. It's called freedom... If we want to live in a free society, we need to break free from the artificial limitations on free debate and start asking serious questions once again. I am happy that my campaign for the presidency has finally raised some of them. But this is a long-term project that will persist far into the future. These ideas cannot be allowed to die, buried beneath the mind-numbing chorus of empty slogans and inanities that constitute official political discourse in America." |

And by the way, the GOP is getting the message and is afraid:

We wouldn't need delegates if their votes are all forced or pre-made. The system is then no longer republican but democratic (and I shall never know why PRIMARY systems do such silly things as delegations).
Even in states who mandate by law that a pledged delegate vote as promised or however that may work, they could still legally vote otherwise, at the expense of prosecution, right? |

It's all dependent on state or protectorate law. If the state law says you will vote in such and such a manner then so be it. Remember, the states are the ones who have the final say in how their delegates will vote.
