Default Looking for a place to buy an AK

Im looking to buy an AK within a 1 hr drive of Scranton. Anyone know of some good places to go? Most shops around here dont really have a selection. I am thinking of driving to Sniper Country PX in Pottstown, but the price of gas is making me think twice about that. Any input would be appreciated.

If you're not in a huge rush a gun show would be the way to go.

you could also buy them online just have your local FFL do the transfer for you. you might get a better deal online anyway.

If your talking about driving an hour or more it might be cheaper to buy it online and pay a local FFL to do the transfer.

Someone told me that production of Romanian AKs is stopping. Not sure how reliable the info is, but price would shoot up quick if it were to happen.

Default Re: Looking for a place to buy an AK

I heard it's fake just some dealer trying to push his product.

I think the story goes something like about Romania trying to join NATO and NATO especially U.S.A is forcing it to shut down it's AK factory for political purpose, so the Romanian did. they are now making Auto Parts instead of WSAR AK.

BUT here goes the Story is fake since Romania joined NATO in 2004 why
would they still want to join NATO now!!!! this is just some dealer trying to push his high priced AK on to his customers, IF you are a informed citizen and read WORLD NEWS!!! or do some research you'll not be fooled.don't be rushed to buy AK yes price will go up eventually, it's more because of inflation and current economics.

I'll try to find that dealer's web page so you'll all can have a big laugh!!!
