Exclamation Ebayers Beware:
Some idiot on Ebay is selling the frame for a Kimber, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the transfer of a serialized pistol frame require an FFL???

Why worry about it? The ebay police will remove that auction.

If the guy is that stupid to sell something that requires a PICS check on, that's on him. I saw that people were actually bidding on the frame as well. Goes to show that plenty of people don't know the law.

You never know, I'm just surprised people were actually bidding on it. I agree that there is no way that listing will run to fruition, I just don't want anyone wasting thier time on it.

1.) It's the holidays so fewer people are watching the store.

Takes longer to catch illegal sales.

2.) It's the holidays so fewer people are watching the store.

Perfect time to try to get away with something.

3.) We don't have to know the law. The powers to be would not have allowed it if it were not legal.

(Works with don't need to watch my step if it were dangerous they would not let us in this area and we don't need to take care of ourselves the government will do it for us)

Problem is, what might be legal in one state is NOT legal in another. For example, in Texas, face-to-face sales are legal (at least they were a few years ago when we lived there). In a lot of states, they are NOT. When you're on e-bay, you've got buyers and sellers in different states with different laws.

Thats not a state law thats Fed any reciever or frame needs to be thru a FFL. i've seen rifle bbls with the reciever slip thru ebay now and then.Selling them on auction is not illegal they must be sent to a FFL The rules against selling on Ebay are ebay regs.--Rat--
