Factoryville Sportsmen's Club Monthly IDPA Match Reminder
Date: Saturday, January 6, 2007 (Yep, time to start remembering to put 2007 on everything.) Registration: 9AM Start: 10AM This is a reminder that the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club will be holding their monthly IDPA match at the time listed above. There will be a classifier held, weather permitting, following the match and lunch. If you want to shoot the classifier you must reserve a spot by emailing me before Friday. If you are new to IDPA you can check out the main IDPA web site at www.idpa.com for more about the shooting sport. If you need a new shooter safety briefing or are bringing a guest that will need a new shooter safety briefing please arrive at 9AM and ask Frank, Mike, or any of the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club IDPA staff to conduct the briefing. Remember this is important and it is done to insure that new shooters understand the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club's Range Rules as well as IDPA rules and Safety Officer Instructions. It would be a good idea for new shooters to check out the Easton Tactical Ops New IDPA Shooter web site at http://www.eastontacticalops.com/manual.html but it is not a substitute for the safety briefing. It just might make it easier to understand. If you have not tried it go to www.idpaforum.com and check out the IDPA Forum. Lots of good info and great people including announcements about other matches. Regards and See you at the Match... Directions to the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club Range. 1. Take 81 North to Exit 194. 2. Follow Route 6 West toward Clarks Summit. 3. Stay on Route 6 West and go under the large Turnpike Bridge. 4. Go Straight through the Center of Clarks Summit.
