Also, for the PA Open Carry webpage, I would suggest not using Flash for navigational elements. This is how the webpage initially appears for me and others who use the popular Flashblock plugin for Firefox:

I don't have anything to add that hasn't already been mentioned.

That is a handy little flier to keep in your car so when you're pulled over by a cop who doesn't know jack about anything starts his/her crap you can say here...read it for yourself.
My favorite is when they ask if I have weapons in the vehicle.
I always say "no, however I am in the posession of firearms."
Always gets a strange look.

Goos job Patriot, have a good time at your lunch.

For places off limits, no mention of schools. I know of the for other lawful purposes, but I think it is important to mention that if found carrying in a school in PA you are probably going to be arrested and have a legal battle on your hands.

My 2 cents anyhow.

Very good job, some minor points (in case they haven't been covered):

Under:
Quote:
Brandishing & Disturbing the Peace:

A person who shows or indicates that they have a gun with
the intent to intimidate another person can be charged with
various forms of assault [or terroristic threatening] (, including Terroristic Threats).
-Remove section in [] and replace with text in ()-reason = Terroristic Threats is a form of Assault, so it's covered under the statement “various forms of assault”, however, in order to bring attention to that specific charge, I do think it should be noted. Use the comma after “including” to make the cite of Terroristic Threats parenthetical (i.e. added, but not explicitly necessary information). It should read: A person who shows or indicates that they have a gun with the intent to intimidate another person can be charged with various forms of assault, including Terroristic Threats.

Under: Disorderly Conduct & Terroristic Threats:

Open carry of a handgun, in a holster, lacking any other threatening or (D)isorderly (C)onduct by the person carrying, is neither disorderly conduct, nor [terroristic threatening] (a Terroristic Threat). (Since openly carrying a firearm is a legitimate exercise of a Pennsylvanian's rights, such conduct is not by itself threatening, nor does it cause a hazardous or physically offensive condition that serves no legitimate purpose of the actor).

Replace what comes after nor with what's in the ()'s. Also, as indicated, I would capitalize the charge "Disorderly Conduct".

Under:
Quote:
General Facts About Firearms > Buying, selling and Transferring Ownership:
The end of the “Long Guns” reads, “owning a firearm[s].” -Drop the [s].

also

Quote:
Transfer of Handguns to NON PA residents must go through an FFL in the recipient(')s state.
Add the (').

Under” Transporting:

Quote:
Long guns MUST be unloaded [and it and] (with any) ammunition [must be] in (a) separate container[s] in order to be transported in vehicles within PA.
-Remove everything in the []'s and replace with text in (). Should read:: Long guns MUST be unloaded with any ammunition in a separate container in order to be transported in vehicles within PA.

Also, you may want to actually define “unloaded” as many gun owners and literal people seem to think that unloaded means not having a round in the chamber ready to fire (minus the manipulation of a safety mechanism), meaning they think a full magazine without one in the pipe is okay and fits under the definition of “unloaded”. For purposes of PA law, that's not the case.

18 Pa.C.S.A. § 6102
"Loaded." A firearm is loaded if the firing chamber, the nondetachable magazine or in the case of a revolver, any of the chambers of the cylinder contain ammunition capable of being fired. In the case of a firearm which utilizes a detachable magazine, the term shall mean a magazine suitable for use in said firearm which magazine contains such ammunition and has been inserted in the firearm or is in the same container or, where the container has multiple compartments, the same compartment thereof as the firearm.
I would suggest: “For purposes of Pennsylvania Law, “unloaded” means having all ammunition in a container separated from the firearm. A firearm with ammunition in the magazine while inserted into the gun is considered “loaded”
.

I would suggest: For purposes of Pennsylvania Law, “unloaded” means having all ammunition in a container separated from the firearm. A firearm with ammunition in the magazine while inserted into the gun is considered “loaded”.

Great job though!

As drafted:

Quote:
Places Off-Limits While Carrying in PA:

- ANY Court facility
- ANY Federal Property (Unless Authorized)

- State Parks (except while in vehicle)

- Detention Facilities (Adult & Juvenile)

- Airport Terminals (secure areas, common areas OK)

- Cities of the first class unless you hold a valid LTCF

(Applies to both open carry & concealed carry)
Re: "ANY Federal Property" - 18 USC 930a states federal facilities which means buildings, not the land on which they sit.

Re: "Airport Terminals" - Should state Secure areas only

Not yet. It's in the works, but it hasn't been signed into law yet. Still has a ways to go.

Maybe the "Draft" watermark could be removed?
