Finally got to run some rounds through the both of them today.
I think I'm in love. The Vaquero really amazed me at how smooth the action works.
35 Magtech 250gr LRN cowboy loads through the Vaquero. 20 yards to target, off hand. Flawless. Thats really all I can say. All shots within a 12" circle, most within 6". I can't wait to shoot this thing from a rest to see how well it'll group.

Ran 50 Rem UMC 115gr RN, and 10 CorBon +p 115gr JHP through the P11 at 10 yards. No failures, aside from the rear sight shooting loose. Not falling off loose, but loose enough to move by hand. I've repaired it with a dab of red locktite, and will contact Kel-Tec to get a replacement sight if needed. Recoil was decidedly tame, not near what I had expected from many posts on KTOG about severe recoil with P11's.

Hopefully I'll get to run some more rounds through both pistols in the coming weeks.

Very nice pair. I have a P11 myself, and I definatley think they are too demonized by some peoples opinions. Mine shoots like butter after a trigger job, fluff and buff, magazine floor plate grip, and slip-on grip were done. I will say KT does seem to have some issues with their rear sights, as mine had some flash from the molding process nearly covering the white dots. I do yearn for the day someone devises a better sight upgrade for it.
