Holy Effin crap batman. I guess this is why some carry around the house. But then again I have a peep whole and I don't open the door for anyone I don't know. Now if I could just get wife to stop opening it for those nice young men in white shirts and ties on bikes with back packs we'd be just fine. Mormons,,,,,,, Hmmph.

What many are missing (possibly maybe I'm just reading it wrong) is that this man's son is a college student.

While many of you would think twice before opening the door at 2am, us college folk keep retarded hours and you never know when a friend may drop by. 2am is basically when people START going to bed in my dorm and a knock at 2-3 is fairly common.

Then again I go to bed at 9pm so I'm never one to greet the knocker happily, but I wouldn't think anything was amiss. I guess this just goes to show you that you should never open the door unprepared.

I'm glad your son is okay and I hope he recovers well from this incident.
