The City of Philadelphia is making a big mistake here , The State has the responsibility to legislate Gun laws. The biggest problem in the City is people who aren't going to follow any regulations or any laws , This is only goiing to affect those who are buying hand guns for self defense or home defense, It wil have no impact on crime and it won't reduce the number of guns on the street. When I was a kid the favorite way for gang members to get even was to use "zip guns" (this was a home made gun comprised of a length of pipe and some wood and a few other pieces of junk cobbled together), then they went to Saturday night specials , and now they have 9 mm or 45 s or some other gun with a large capacity magazine. No this gun law stuff does not work.

Nutter has his buddy in the harrisburg executive mansion...he doesn't feel intimidated by breaking Pennsylvania law because he knows he's "safe"...he SHOULD, however, be held liable for his actions...

My question's are:
1) What are these five gun laws and how will they effect carrying in Philly. 2) Will the PA Supreme Court enforce the PA Constitution. 3) What is the literacy rate of Philly politicians. Hooked on phonics worked for me! 4) Will the Philly politicians promote and prove their ultimate gun control measure, a complete gun ban, by first leading by example and require that they themselves and their assigned protection personnel give up their firearms, tasers, batons, etc and just carry chemical spray. They should also be held to the same criminal prosecution of the gun laws they write should they violate those gun laws.

Nutter is an even bigger piece of sh!t than Street. Street was too corrupt to pursue his liberal agenda. Nutter seems to be focused. It really annoys me when these elected officials piss away tax payer money on crap like this.

How do we keep getting these anti-gun zealots in public office. It's mindboggling.
Never and I mean not ever do they address anything that will be effective in cutting crime. |

Along the same lines as MrUgly's question, can the mayor and council be charged with conspiracy when this all goes bad?

How about we all, as individuals, file private criminal complaints against Nutter for willful violation of §6120
AG would have to take notice. |
