Default change of address question

i recently moved and haven't gotten a chance to change the address on my driver's license or permit to carry yet. at last weekend's gun show i saw a few items i was interested in buying, if i had purchased a firearm would i put my current address or or the one on my licenses? also do handguns need to have a change of address as well or is it only a county/state issue?

Default Re: change of address question

You have 15 days in which to change the address on your driver's license.

There are no provisions, or requirements, in state law for changing the address on your LTCF. It cannot be done. There are no forms available with which to do it. It is good until it expires, regardless of the address on it.

Since there is no handgun registration in Pennsylvania, your handguns do not have an address, so asking how to change their address is a moot point.

Putting your old address on the firearms purchase forms would be committing a fraud. Get your driver's license updated.
