Ruger LCP380 Range Report
I picked up my Ruger yesterday. I couldn't wait to goto the range with it. This morning at 9.00AM I was on the range. It was still very cold. I first fired 100 rounds of Winchester white box. No problems at all. The little gun is much more accurate than my Keltec P3AT. 3 inch groups at 7 yards. I then shot 100 rounds of remington jacketed hollow points. At round 91 of the hollow points I had a failure of the slide to return to full battery. I don't blame this on the gun because at that time my hands were numb from the cold and shooting all these rounds out of a very small 380. One light tap on the slide and the rest went as they should have. All in all I have to say that if all of the 380's are like mine, Ruger has a winner on their hands. The gun feels much better made than my Kel-Tec. The trigger is a whole lot better, much smoother and lighter than the Kel-Tec and the Ruger is considerably more accurate.

Nice that you were able to do a side-by-side comparison with the P3-AT. If the LCP380 is more accurate with a nicer trigger pull, it's gonna give Kel-Tec a run for their money, as the P3-AT has been one of Kel-Tec's "bread and butter" guns.

sounds like I'll be trading my P32 in on a Ruger LCP..
It even looks like the kel-tec belt clip will fit on it..

Re: Ruger LCP380 Range Report
Just came back from firing another 150 rounds out of my Ruger. I had no problems at all except for the price of 380 ammo.
