Can you provide a link to something official about this? Pennsylvania Reciprocity website does not mention Arizona at all and the Arizona reciprocity page lists it as "pending".

On September 21, 2006, most legislation passed during the Forty-Seventh
Legislature - Second Regular Session (2006) becomes effective. Among
the Bills that become law on September 21st is HB 2076. You can find

HB 2076 adds ARS 13-3102.01 clarifying how weapons must be stored in
public (i.e. state and local government operated) establishments or
events that prohibit weapons. Per the new law, "If an operator of a
public establishment or a sponsor of a public event requests that a
person carrying a deadly weapon remove the weapon, the operator or
sponsor shall provide temporary and secure storage. The storage shall
be readily accessible on entry into the establishment or event and allow
for the immediate retrieval of the weapon on exit from the establishment
or event."

With the passage of a companion preemption bill, HB 2649, the
legislature did not allow any exceptions to HB 2076 and stated that:
"Except for the legislature, this state and any agency or political
subdivision of this state shall not enact or implement any law, rule or
ordinance relating to the possession or storage of firearms other than
as provided in statute." The text of HB 2649 can be found here:

These new laws SHOULD mean that, effective September 21st, when you go
to any State or local government office that prohibits weapons, there
should be "temporary and secure storage" that is "readily accessible on
entry" and allows for "immediate retrieval" of your weapon when you
leave.

We're already hearing grumblings that some agencies and jurisdictions
are choosing to not comply with the new laws - there are no penalties
for non-compliance.

In order to get the legislature to strengthen the law we need YOUR help.
After September 21st, if you encounter any public establishment or event
that you believe is not providing adequate weapon storage that is
readily accessible on entry and allows for immediate retrieval on exit

Please let us know when you encounter compliance with HB 2076 - let us
know who the good guys are. Especially if they are not prohibiting
weapons.

Even if you are not carrying your firearm when you enter a public
facility, look around or ask questions. Public establishments include
MVD offices, libraries, state agency offices, court houses, police
stations and even community events. The more evidence we gather, with
your help, the more effective we'll be in improving YOUR rights. Spread
the word!

Perhaps I missed it but I don't see anything in that alert about PA reciprocity.

yeah I copied the wrong one. I am trying to find the other one that Steven Wenger sent me.

They recognize any states that:
required a background check
Permit is good througgh-out the state (New york is also excepted)
a few other perameters. I have to find it, I'll post it tomorrrow.

Ok, once you find it just post it here. As long as I can find an official source that says they honor our permits I'll update our reciprocity page.

Effective September 21, 2006, Arizona will recognize any permit issued in the US if that permit is valid throughout its state of issue and:
The permit or license is recognized as valid in the issuing state.
The permit or license holder is all of the following:
Not a resident of Arizona.
Legally present in Arizona.
Not legally prohibited from possessing a firearm in Arizona.
The Arizona DPS CWP Unit states that an unrestricted New York State pistol permit will be recognized in Arizona, even though it is not recognized in the five boroughs of New York City.
