There is a separate area for shotguns, that is all that is meant by multiple projectiles. No shotguns on the rifle/pistol range. You must also adhere to a 3 round limit in a firearm. I think there is an exemption for revolvers but I keep it safe and go with 3. At first I hated the limit, I used to go out into the Everglades (in a dumping area) and blast away, loved the rapid fire. But the truth be told, you get much better going slow. Cheaper too.

Does anyone know when/if they maintain it? My friends and I love going up there so we were thinking about donating some wood and conveyor belt material to fix things up just so its usable.

Besides the current conditions I've never had any problems there, people have been respectful and a few times I've gone no one else has been there.

#206 is usually maintained quite well which is one of the reasons I go there. But they last few times the garbage at the pistol range has been quite full.

Expect to come away from there disgusted.....Enough said.......

I'll reiterate what has already been said multiple times on this thread, spend the money and join a club. You will be glad you did.......I doubt I'll ever go back to a stae run public range unless I am meeting a person who is unable to come down to my club.
