Question carry "cross draw" or "same side draw"???

I'm sure this question has beed asked before... Sorry, I'm fairly new here. Just curious as to which carry is preferred. I prefer "cross draw" carry myself, seems more comfortable and easier access. Wondering if there is a preference of the majority and if so... why?

Crossdraw is more comfortable and convenient but there are two serious drawbacks.

1. The pistol is oriented to a potential gun grabber in a most opportunistic fashion.

2. You can cover innocent bystanders during the presentation and there is excessive, wasted motion in the drawstroke.

I normally carry strong side, but I do like crossdraw when I will be driving for long periods of time, as the gun is accessable and its not poking me.

I like crossdraw when carrying CC IWB. Strongside carry for OC'ing.

4 o'clock here. I like crossdraw for long car rides though. Hunting lets me carry Doc Holiday style.

One reason why I don't like cross draw is your arm reaches across your body to draw...if your attacker puts his hand/arm/weight against your arm that's reaching, he can pin that arm against your body preventing you from drawing.

cross draw makes it a lot harder to clear your gun with your weak hand. At least for my body type.

I can reach behind my body and cross clear my gun (4 o'clock) with my left hand.
