Students for Concealed Carry on Campus Newsweek Feature
More Guns on Campus? - Lead Story at Newsweek!
I generally disagree with just about everything I read in Newsweek, so this is really a surprising article to see coming from them. Finally someone in the liberal media world is getting a clue, and that is encouraging. I only hope this opens some eyes. Official Site - Students for Concealed Carry on Campus

I read this yesterday. I went to the groups website but couldn't see any way to join them. While I'm not a student I'd like to see what they are proposing to occur. The way things are going when my kids get to college age I'm going to try and enroll them in a Utah college or someplace else that at least allows them to protect themselves if they want.
I can see it now... "Here is your laptop son and here is your Colt. Don't leave home without the latter." Either that or perhaps a college degree online will be the norm by then. I emailed one of the contacts on that site to try and get info on how to join or at least support them.

I e-mailed it to everyone I have an address for. Good to see a pro-gun article in a major magazine like Newsweek. I wanted to make sure that the word got out about this article and the ideas it is supporting.

great article. There are some really good comments on it too.
Also there are some really scary comments on there. Luckily it seems common sense prevails over the few morons who think allowing people to carry colcealed will turn the world into a wild-west shootout.
