Default Selling my moms pistol

This question is related to this thread:
http://www.pafoa.org/forum/question-...-transfer.html

I am now in possession of my mom's pistol. I have a buyer, but my mom never registered the gun in Pa when she moved here from Jersey. Can I still legally sell this gun to an individual through my local FFL? Or does she have to first register it in Pa?

If your mom gave it to you then it falls under the parent-child transfer (no paperwork required - at all). It is now yours to do with what you want. If you are selling it you set it up with the FFL of your (or the buyers) choice. You give the FFL the gun, the buyer gives you the money, The FFL enters it into his books, the FFL does the PICS on the buyer, the buyer pays the FFL the fees required, the FFL gives the gun to the buyer. That's it, finito.
