I bought the same shotty about a month or so ago

Mine wont/hasnt been able to run any of the "value" low brass type ammo though.
I figured it might just need some breaking in, but a couple hundered rounds later it still wont run the weaker ammo. Wont eject them.

I like mine, but now I am not too sure why I bought it.
I dont do any kind of shotgun sport shooting, and I dont use it for HD (which would be its best fitting role).

They are pretty hard to find.

I was able to find ONE in stock at a Dick's and went and got it. But every other store anywhere near PGH I called didnt have it. My fav online retailers didnt, and no-one was able to order it or find it at their distributors.

Do you still like your SPX now that a little more time has passed?

Thanks everyone.
Love it as much today as I did when I bought it almost a year ago. Love it even more because I introduced a neighbor to shooting with it not too long ago. I brought out the entire arsenal, and after having tried everything else, he went for the SPX, and with one pull of the trigger he had a smile from ear to ear

I've got one and love it
I have never seen them around up until recently, when I saw one for sale at the Dick's at Coventry Mall in Pottstown. They were selling it for $599 IIRC. I paid much less because Rich Warner gave me a discount.

I'm surprised you're having trouble. For the most part, I've been shooting the Remington value pack shells, which are listed as:

- 2 3/4"
- 3 dram eq.
- 1200 fps
- 1 1/8 oz #8 shot

I also shot the WWB shells (don't remember the specs) awhile back. I've never had a failure to feed, or eject.
