I just purchases my first gun, a S&W sigma .40. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a quality cleaning kit that will come with what I need to get the job done. If you could add a link that would be helpful. Thanks.

Then, go to a drug store and buy a box of Q-Tips. An old cotton T-shirt works well for cutting cleaning patches from. You'll spend half of what a kit costs and have everything you need. A Cleaning Kit is only useful if you need to clean multiple calibers of pistol and rifle. |

Wash it with soap and water. I have one for my rifle works great. Here is a link to midway.

If you plan to purchase additional firearms I recommend the Otis kit. I have one and it works on everything from my .17 hmr to my 12 gauge.

What store can you buy one of them in? |
