Re: Walmart wants to SCAN my drivers license! WTF!?!?
I got done with work yesterday and was supposed to meet the wife and in-laws for dinner. But they were running late, so I stopped in the Wal-mart on my way and headed to the sporting goods section. I asked to get the ammo I wanted, and as the guy was getting it and setting it on the counter, the conversation went:
"Now I am sure you are over 21, but can I see some ID just to make sure"
"Sure thing *as I get out my driver's license", I never mind people asking for ID."
*He looked at my ID and gave it back*
He said "Yeah, when you get to be my age, every looks older than they are."
He didn't scan my ID, just looked it briefly. And this particular wal-mart, they don't require me to pay at the sporting goods section. I have been told before that I can just take the ammo and continue my shopping. But I always pay there so I don't have to fight the crowds at the front.
