i'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for a program to finish running and they keep popping into my head, so...
SBR = short barreled rifle SPR = special purpose rifle SBS = short barrelled shotgun FCG = fire control group (trigger, etc.) FMJ = full metal jacket JHP = jacketed hollow point SA = single action (or (springfield armory) DA = double action (or district attorney....or dumb ass )DAO = double action only SA/DA = single action/double action CMT = continental machine & tool COM = center of mass (or common object model )VFG = vertical foregrip JFPO = jews for the protection of firearms owneeship (a great organization, btw) GOA = gun owners of america NRA = national rifle association PAFOA = of course, PA firearms owner's association (aka, poofa in some circles) aka = also known as ACSL = allegheny county sportsmens league (another great organization that does a lot for PA gun rights) PMSC = pitcairn monroeville sportsmens club (a really cool gun club near pittsburgh of which many of us are members and at which the western PA PAFOA group shoots---aka the poofa shoots--are held.)

LDA = Light Double Action Some terms you'll see a lot when discussing AK/AKM rifles but not specific to it FSB = Front Sight Base GB = Gasblock RSB = Rear sight base Some bullet descriptions WC = Wadcutter LRN = Lead round nose LSWC = Lead semi wadcutter BT = Boat-tail HS = Hydra shock SP = soft point J (as prefix) = Jacketed ie. JSP = Jacketed soft point; JHP = jacketed hollow point TMJ = total metal jacket
