Oh, I thought you actually saw it in person. Nevermind then, that price won't last long on an auction site. Again, if you're interested in it, ask the seller about compliance, and you can do a search here or any forum for 922r and compliance related issues.

Be careful too, there are deceptive sellers out there.

Don't buy into auctions that say authentic Russian or Russian anything, unless it's a Saiga or a VEPR, because there is no such thing as a pre ban Russian, they were never imported. There are such things as PLO capture kits, but that's a rarity and you'd pay a grand or so for one, and it's going to be beat to shit from having been through hell and back, and it's just parts, not a rifle.

There are crafty engravers out there who engrave the Izzy arsenal mark into the triangle of a Romanian trunnion. Both Romanian and Russian Izhevsk arsenal markings use arrow in triangles, they can be made to look similar so be careful. Real Russian furniture also goes for the price of some rifles.

Fear not the WASR, it will work. Just clean it thoroughly before use, as Century leaves a TON of crud behind after they do the hi-cap/922 trick to these rifles.

BTW, canted sites are not unique to WASRs either, the crew that put my Yugo together had it off, my other Yugo was perfect. If you do the cant-fix, you will see that it can be a pain to both keep it straight AND beat the pins back in.

And yes, this horse has been beaten to death over the past week in the "vote on my AK" thread.

As you mentioned in a later post, the Russian versions won't have anything to do with Century.

For OP, Converted Saiga rifles are pricey unless you do it yourself. If you are semi-competent with basic tools, look into doing it yourself.
