Dr.Gallo, Ligonier, PA

I can't remember where I saw the thread concerning Dr.Gallo, of Ligonier, PA. Can anyone tell me if the good Doctor had a License to Carry a (concealed) Firearm at the time of his encounter with Mr.Pirl? A reporter I e-mailed with advised me that according to newspaper article there was an unspecified firearms charge that was dropped and a relative of mine read something in a newspaper article that said he (Dr.Gallo) didn't have a PA LTCF.

Dr. Gallo had a license and the case is over. I am unsure if the charges were dropped, not filed, found not guilty or what but the case is over and he is a free man.

Police charged both Gallo and 39-year-old Patrick Pril in the case. Pril is accused of tailing Gallo too closely and then cutting in front of him. Investigators said Pril then turned around and drove straight toward Gallo.

That's when police said Gallo pulled out his gun and fired at Pril's windshield, injuring Pril's shoulder.

During Gallo's court hearing on Friday, Pril failed to show up to testify, prompting the judge to drop the attempted homicide charge.

It appears you are correct - because the MDJ Report shows all charges withdrawn....

I just wonder if that means they could re-file in the future???
