Default New GSG-5

Just brought this plinker home today. Its a German Sport Guns GSG-5. Its very fun and the coolness factor beats the 10/22. The only thing wrong with it so far is some of the screws loosened up during shooting.

I'm insanely jealous. I want one of those to SBR in the worst way.

Yea they're going for about $499 if you can get them. They just made their way into the country this past week with very limited numbers. I'm in debate if I want to SBR it. It would be cool to get rid of the fake can but for now I'm gonna shoot it as is.

Snert. what pictures would you like of it?

If by chance you can post some pics of the following.

1-The bolt removed from reciever.
2-The internal view of the reciever. Figure with stock removed, looking towards the trunion.
3-If the lower can be removed from rifle. A pic of the trigger group, and up into the reciever with trigger group removed.
4- A closer view of the exterior of the reciever.
5- A closer view of the front end from the sides.

I am very interested in these. I have a thing for the MP5's style. I will never own a real McCoy MP5 due to prices. So I will shop for the clones.
I have noticed they dont have the sling hook on the side of the mag well. Just curious as to how close of a clone they are. My kids are already droolin over the SBR I have at my FFL waiting its papers. But figured this would be a nice plinker for the kids..

Also keep us updated with a range report PLEASE...Heck if you were not too far away I would drive to meet ya to look it over..

Broken down all the way.

Factory 10/22 barrel next to the GSG barrel

You have to slide the bolt carrier and trigger group in together

Once trigger group and bolt carrier are installed the bolt carrier is held in place with this plate that is bolted in with an allen head bolt

Fake suppressor removed
