Default interesting, what would you do???

so it's saturday morning, i'm hanging out on the 'puter, doing nothing.
the wify comes up and drops a ups box on the bed, which then proptly bounces right off on to her foot. so the box has some weight to it, measures about about 12x8x5 inches.

i pick it up, and it does indeed hvae some weight to it.
i'm trying to figure out what the heck it is, and when i ordered it?
it has my name and addy on it.....obviously. shipped from an ammo supplier out west??
the questions are racing at this point.

well only one thing left, crack it open i guess.
so upon opening i find 500 rds of golden bear 762x39.
wow i don't even remember ordering this, i had thougth about a few times, but did'nt think i ever did. i order a good of stuff and think about ordering even more, so half the time when something showes up i need a second or two to remember what's going on.

so i start digging for the paper work.

this is were it starts getting funny.

the reciept is in somebody elses name, the billing addy is in ID, the shipping addy is another town in ID.
from what i gathered they ordered this stuff earlier in the month, never received shippment, called, and got another box sent. the paper work refferances the other number.

earlier this month i had ordered a few ak mags. when the box arrived i was shorted a mag.
i called, they sent another mag out. the guy did sorta give me a difficult time, almost like i was lieing to get one free ak47 mag??? please..... problem fixed. that second box arrived early last week.

when i called they redirected me several times, as only one person handles those problems.

i guess my name was still at the top of the list?

i can obviously use the stuff
but because apparently i'm a stand up guy, i'm having a hard time justifing just keeping the stuff.

i guess monday or so i'll call and see if i can just pay for it. i really don't feel like trying to send it back.

i was thinking about running out this afternoon to pick a few more rds of x39 up any way, i gues this saves me a trip?? i don't know.

this place has'nt did me any wrong, and they seem to have shipping problems.

That's what I would do. The last time I got an item included in an order I did not request, I sent it back with a note, and the company sent me a nice little Leupold lens-cleaner pen as a thank-you.

I had ordered 1 break out box at work for IHC from a company in michigan. These boxes were $600 a piece. When I received my order they were six boxed in the shipment. I contiplated on sending the other ones to my other buildings but that would not have been ethical. I called the company and told them of their mistake. They were very happy that we were honest enough to send the overage back. That was a $3000 dollar mistake on their part.

Well done.

I had a pair of Steyr mags sent to me by SAI and when I opened the box someone elses name was on the invoice. I called him up and shipped the mags to him ASAP.

Maybe they'll even cut you a break on shipping because of your honesty.
Probably not, but it's a nice thought.
Is it less expensive than Glenn's? He's selling Wolf for $4.25/20.
