Currently we are honestly unsure what our overhead will be. The overhead for running the website itself (software, hosting) is free currently because our hosting is donated by doug and our software has already been paid for. Currently our only real expenses are our time that we put into developing the website, collecting and writing the content for the main site, updating the forum software and the small amounts of moderation on the forum which I do in my spare time. Obviously as we begin becoming more politically active we will incur travel costs and eventually we may need to hire lawyers to help us with issues but we're really going to have to cross that bridge when we get there.

My personal salary for the forseeable future is going to be $0.00/year as we most likely will not have the funding to pay a salary, hopefully our organization will grow in a way where it may become a job but currently I think I'm going to need to keep my day job for the time being. There are also questions about the setup regarding founders & board members as paid employees that will have to be answered by our lawyers during the incorporation and NPO process (which is why we're running this fundraiser.)

I actually just heard about this program the other day, but it's absolutely something worth looking into for us.

I think at this point we'd be getting ahead of ourselves to say we're going to be having staff at this point, we have a lot of learning and a lot of growing to do.

Our focus will be on Pennsylvania and that may include DC as any federal legislation would obviously effect Pennsylvanian Firearm Owners. As for other states that unfortuantely seems pretty unlikely, I think we're going to have more than enough work to do in Pennsylvania so I don't see that happening anytime soon if at all.
I don't want to mislead anyone here, at this point we are in our infancy, I work a full-time job and do this in my spare time as does doug. We're going to have to take baby steps before we can run and I think that's going to take time.
Unless we receive some sort of huge grant from somewhere or some rich gun owner wills his fortune to us and we all of a sudden have a million dollars, none of us are going to be able to just quit our jobs and dedicate 100% of our time to the organization.
This shouldn't be seen as a lack of intent, or a lack of seriousness towards the purpose, just the cold hard facts of life (I need my health insurance!). We will need to slowly raise money to fund our goals which over time will hopefully put us into a position where we may be able to make our dream our job, but these things don't just happen overnight.
