Folks, these are ad boards, not discussion boards.

keep the comments/questions and such to PMs or emails, aside from posts saying "I'll take it" and "Check PM/Email" and such....anything else will be deleted without comment.

dont discuss the merits or applications of items for sale here, questions/comments/observations should be addressed to the seller via PM or emails, and sellers, BE PRECISE on what you are selling, include all attributes on the item, the more inclusive you are on the description, the less PMs and emails you'll get asking questions!

please read the rules, and follow them.

Hmm, guess my topic looking for a Springfield M6 is in violation of the rules as myself and a fellow member conversed a bit in the thread. Thanks for drawing that to my attention, I'll make sure to follow the rule better form here on out.

To reply to the OP, If you dont want to PM/email your questions or comments, can't you use the webchat feature of the board or a phone call to clarify any info you may need beyond the OP?

It's really pretty simple ultimately. Those are the rules, we like them, and they're going to stay that way for the time being. We allow people to do pretty much whatever the heck they want on here with a very hands off approach, that is the one section of the site that we moderate heavily (and for good reason.)

There is simply nothing that needs to be said that can't be said via PM. If the original poster needs to add more information they can edit their post. Once an item is sold we delete it to clean up.

I realize that you do not like this setup, and your opinion is noted, we just disagree.

It's not personal, we just can't possibly please everyone all the time and this time you're the one not pleased. All I can do is apologize for that and hope that you stick around regardless because I would like to think that the value of what we do here far outweighs a minor disagreement over whether classifieds communication has to happen via PM or not.
