Transfer of Ownership - Pistol

I have a question regarding the transfer of ownership of a Pistol from Child to Parent.

I am looking to get my dad a pistol.

What are the transfer processes between the two entities?

D owe have to go through a FFL to execute the transaction, or is a Face to FAce OK?

No FFL "transfer" required for child to adult

Child to parent (and visa versa) are legal in PA and no transfer required.

seller of the firearm. The provisions of this section shall not
apply to transfers between spouses or to transfers between a
parent and child or to transfers between grandparent and
