It seems like a decent holster for alternative mounting applications. I'm not sure that I like how it's mounted via that narrow top screw plate. I feel like it might be a little flimbsy... side to side. I have no experience with this holster, so I'm only offering specualtion. Anyone else's thoughts?

that's pretty neat. i've thought about doing something like that for my truck and jeep, but building it myself out of some existing holster.

I was thinking more along the lines if a polyurethane type of holster like a cheap fobus one or something to more easily and securely screw to something on the vehicle.
Problem is, that I'd be stuck with one gun frame, unless it was mounted with some nylon type of holster.
