So, i was broken down on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck and a state trooper pulls up. He comes to my window and asks me for my drivers license, so i tell him I'm waiting for a tow truck, give him my drivers license and nothing more. He runs my drivers license, sets up some road flares, gives me my DL back, tells me to have a nice day and to call if i need anything.
The entire time i was concealing my glock 19 and it was like he didn't even notice...i wonder why? Learn from my experiences. |

Why give him information and paperwork that isn't relevant? That's just looking for trouble. |

So basically you're saying there is no need to reveal the fact that we're carrying unless he asks?

There is no duty to inform in PA. |

So, I shouldn't answer his question, but try to change the subject instead?

Should they specifically ask you if you have any weapons you shouldn't lie but otherwise why volunteer info?

So as i have been reading if I get pulled over I dont have""required"" to tell the officer I am carrying. I was under the assuption that the law required you to inform the officer.
