Default selling a flintlock from pittsburgh to philly PA area

If I am a private seller and I want to sell a flint lock in PA i live near Pittsburgh and the buyer is near Philly pa do I need to send it to a federal firearms dealer due to it be shipped across the state?

usually FTF transfer are ok on any rifles and shotguns in state lines.

flintlocks are not firearms in that they need a FFL to sell (either federal or PA state law, inter or intrastate), just box it up securely, and UPS that sucket to the buyer.

No legal issues as previously posted. I do suggest removing the lock and packing it as a separate item in the box, or at least wrapping the lock heavily.

If unprotected, the "hammer" (cock) often digs through the side of the box, and could get broken especially if your package is the "lucky one" pulled for the Samsonite commercial.

When I ship one, I also make end caps from 1/4" plywood to reinforce the ends of the box to prevent the muzzle from popping through, also.
