Default HB 641

I just saw this on the NRA website:
http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Read.aspx?ID=3304

Looks like it will be heard in committee on Dec 11.

Thumbs up Re: HB 641

This will be a nice boost to help law-abiding people protect themselves without fear of getting in trouble from a “good” shoot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this would be a good thing to move foward, and if it is something that should move foward, then maybe it should be sent out as a PAFOA alert to make people aware and get them to contact the house members as was done with the legislation that was just shot down.

I wrote them all too; email doesn't have a return address so they dont know if you're in their district.

Time is short, if you haven't written now is the time !! http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Read.aspx?ID=3304

This is what I wrote:

Dear Representative Thomas R. Caltagirone,

I am encouraging you to support House Bill 641. As our police departments are ever decreasing their ranks to save money and they can’t even protect us under these circumstances anyway. Home invasions are a neighborhood terrorist act and we need to protect ourselves.

The recent Omaha shooting was in a Gun Free Zone, Virginia Tech was in the wake of stiffer gun laws; virtually ever mass shooting in America has been in the wake of stricter gun controls. Please don’t announce to criminals and those who charge the doors of our homes in Pennsylvania that they have free rain to do so because the people they are attacking can’t defend themselves. There has not been any place in this World where stiffer gun laws did anything but cause a sharp increase in violent crimes.

Please support this Bill giving us more rights to protect our lives than criminals to take them.

Please take the time to visit http://gunfacts.info/pdfs/gun-facts/...4-2-Screen.pdf and read “Gun Facts” so you understand the carnage resulting from stiffer gun laws.

Sincerely,
William C. Boggs

Please support House Bill 641.

This critical legislation will ensure that law-abiding Pennsylvanians have the ability to defend themselves and their loved ones from violent attack without fear of criminal prosecution or civil action.
