actually, i'm not really sure what you are getting at...

depression may or may not be hidden anger (depending on the specific case), but even it it is, what is your point?

i was saying that we should deal with the underlying causes of depression instead of *just* medicating it (not saying medication for depression is necessarily bad, just that over medication without addressing the underlying causes is bad). are you disagreeing with that?

ok...i will refrain from posting anymore about whether or not this shooting happened due to the "godlessness" (which is kinda funny since the US is one of the most religous countries on the planet) of our country...

but, don't blame me for the thread diversion...i wasn't the one who brought the issue up.

You've got a pretty big set of balls to claim to speak for god. If i were a religious man, i'd tell you that god is too big for just your religion and you do him a disservice thinking otherwise.

It appears that all of the "school shooters" of the last ten years were being medicated with psychotropic drugs. IMO this is a real and major contributing factor to their actions. Religion isn't.

But I'll agree to disagree

Day's before the shooting he show the people that he lived with the SKS rifle use in the shooting. They thought nothing of the rifle and did not think it could fire bullets because it look old. I would like to know how he was able to get this rifle or buy it because he has a record. plus the people that he was living with knew he
had been in trouble. You would think they would had ask to see the rifle and just take it away from him.I'm sure they took their scissors and also took their kitchens
knife"s away.

People like this can ruin my passion of gun collecting and shooting by taking my
rights off of me.

If folks were allowed to carry in that mall, this may have ended even earlier. Anti's will try to turn this tradgedy into fodder to push their agenda, when the absolute ban of guns in that mall didn't prevent the incident and probably prevented it from being stopped earlier.

Are we not allowed to discuss on a discussion board?
Not trying to be smart, I'm not sure I understand your comment...
The thread is about a mall shooting and folks are discussing the causes of such events.

Yep, of course. The problem is trying to explain that to the mall owners and their attorneys. Good luck
