Why, that's as close as your nearest Wal-Mart!...At least, it is at the one near me. Flowers near the entrance, massage oils in the Health and Beauty department, cnadles in housewares (gotta "set the mood", you know and the gun safe in Sporting goods! (and, if it's a Supercenter, you can even get a rotisserie chicken (cooked) and all the fixin's, and have dinner taken care of too!

your answer to all of these questions is going to depend on your and her and your relationship is she your girlfriend for right now, or do you think she's miss right? many of the people i intereviewed for my book said "i used to not like guns until my (husband, boyfriend, sister, girlfriend, etc) took me out shooting and i saw that s/he was behaving safely and his friends were nice, normal, wonderful people." -- that might be a good place to start. i also echo the sentiment others have suggested about getting good locks so that she's confident your guns won't be a liability when someone finds one at a party and shoots a hole in the ceiling.

Also learn to live with her being uncomfortable with guns. I love to shoot. I own two handguns right now and I am looking for a rifle. I shoot IDPA also. I have a carry permit and I usually am carrying.

I still don't carry with a round in the camber. I still am a bit uncomfortable. She may come around and be more of a gun person than you someday and still be as uncomfortable as she is now.

She could be telling you that she doesn't want you trying to drag her to the range.

I gave advice on another thread that you might try on her. Steer her to the 'Women and Guns' forum. It is a mostly all girl gun board.
