What do you guys think of Cannon safes?
This is the one we are thinking of buying. It looks like they have a great warranty. We'd be buying it from Costco since we get free shipping. $1000 is about the limit we'd spend on it. |

I cant comment on that safe as I know nothing about safes. I will say this though, I just seen the same exact safe on ebay, brand new for $200 less including shipping.

I only see 1 of the same model at $799 but thats the beginning bid price. it doesn't say anything about free shipping that I could see, though.

The Cannon was on my list and it would have been a good choice for it's price and quality of build. If this Cannon model meets your needs and price I am sure it will be a good choice.
What ever safe you get shoot a little Breakfree CLP on the hinge pins as the doors are heavy and soon need some lubbing to keep quite and make them easy to move. |

I am sorry... The one I seen on ebay was actualy smaller then the one your looking at. It is only 21.88 cubic feet, and holds 24 guns. Your safe is 30 cu ft and can hold 28 guns. http://cgi.ebay.com/Cannon-Fire-Secu...QQcmdZViewItem Here is the link for it just in case you want to take a look.
