Question interchangable parts?

hey everyone I was wondering are the mossberg 500 and 590a1 parts interchangeable?

I want more metal parts on my shot gun due to the fact im rough on everything.

The plastic trigger gaurd , trigger housing thing and trigger gaurd have to go because the only place plastic belongs on my shot gun is the stock and forend

(oh yeah and im wondering if i can find a bayonet lug too =)

Then perhaps the Mossberg 590 Mariner is best for you then. Not sure about Part compatibility, there has to be a reason os is not the same as the other. I would think it is because of the parts inside, but also the size of the parts.
When I get an other Mossberg I think mine wil be a mariner, I am into Bling when it comes to gun, and Stainless is as close as you can get to the Silver look

alot of the parts are interchangeable i believe. however you should have special ordered the "A1" with the metal parts its only like 20 bucks more and no hassle of finding metal.

The barrel with the bayonet lug ....for some reason I'm thinking that wasn't an easy swap between my 590 and my 500.

I could be smokin crack though

the trigger group is your main concern?
