Replacing guns that fire bullets with guns that fire water is like replacing a gasoline engine with one that runs on water.

So yes, they are saying guns are dangerous, just like gasoline engines. Had to watch it a couple times to figure that one out.

I saw this commercial last night. The immediate reaction I had was that Honda is saying guns are bad in some way. Since that portion (gunfight) of the commercial took up almost all of the time; it left more of an impression that it was an anti-gun commercial than a car commercial.

I feel that honda used the gun issue to side with more left wing customers and they chose guns to make a bold statement. They COULD HAVE USED ANYTHING as a metaphor for harmful gasoline engines; a dangerous animal, wild fire, etc..... but they didnt have to use guns.

But why has no one in the threads questioned the premise presented???

Are bullets really more dangerous than H2O?

1 How many people drown vs. bullet kills and
2 What about tsunamis etc.

I have come close to drowning once but never almost killed by a bullet.

I tried to find a contact email addy for Honda USA, surprisingly, ok maybe not so much, there is no email for contact but they do have a toll free number. In other words there is no way to let them know your displeasure with this campaign unless you contact the local dealer.
