Nevermind, somehow I totally missed the ENTIRE SUB SECTION dealing with this...
original question: -------------------------------- I'm guessing this may have been addressed before, but I don't see it (or am too ignorant to know what to search for) so if someone has a link to an original thread that would be great. Just kicking a question around. As I understand it, it is perfectly legal for an individual to own a fully-automatic weapon provided that the individual has filed the correct paperwork, gotten the blessing of the local CLEO and paid the $200 "Tax". The question is, is this circumvented by local CLEOs not signing the paperwork or other red-tape stone-wall methods or do average Joe's actually receive these permits in PA? Or, is my understanding incorrect? -------------------------------- Joel Last edited by Earthling; November 14th, 2007 at 09:57 AM. Reason: Is it Monday.... <sigh> |
