'smith for aluminum finishing?
I have a S&W 22A frame I'd like an inexpensive black finish put on, anyone in the western part of the state that does it?

If you can't find anyone to do the job, Birchwood Casey makes a product called "Aluma-Black" that will blacken aluminum.
I have seen it used to touch up small worn areas on receivers and aluminum trigger groups and what not and it looked good. Don't know how well it will work and blend a whole gun though. This stuff:  This place sell it. http://www.bosesguns.com/Metal_Finis...ties_s/248.htm

I looked at stuff like that, this thing has a lot of small parts and looks like a pain to take apart, save put back together. if I can't put a revolver back together I'm not taking a chance on this one.
