Default Sig Mosquito or Walther P-22

I'm looking to buy one of these two and was wondering which is the better buy. If you have one of these or any info on reliability let me know. Thanks

I have been thinking of the same lately. From what it seems, they are pretty comparable.

Anyone own both??

I bought a walthers p-22 to use with my gemtech outback II. I love it. In fact, i bought a second one. I thought about trying the sig but they were almost $100 more. I have yet to have a failure and they get pretty dirty shooting suppressed. The only thing that i didn't like---well took a little to get used to was the safety and mag release.

Brad C, i think we are neighbors---well at least we are both in Hatfield.

If your willing to work out some inharient short commings with P22, its a great fun little gun.
I bought it for my GF, but I think I shoot it more these days.

But Before you guy, I strongly suggest look in to Ruger MkIII's first.

I have a P22 and it is a nice little gun. I fondled a Sig once and it is a little larger frame...for the price difference, I choose the P22!

No problems with my P22 so far, Great gun except for the cheap zinc slide, But it works. No experience with the SIG though, I'm sure somebody will chime in.

Default Re: Sig Mosquito or Walther P-22

I have one of each, I like them both…
With the ammo I’m using, Remington Value Pack the Walther P22 is more reliable…
The P22 will come with two mags. The Sig. will come with one mag.
The Sig Mosquito has a more of a full size feel to it, and the mag. will cost more $30 each…

I have neither but have heard that the sig is choosy about ammo.
I have a Ruger Mk I and love it.

My Ruger MkIII eats any ammo I put into it. It's more accurate than a P22 as well.
