I bought my K31 from the guy with the Mosins in crates in one of the middle rows. He had 1 when I bought mine, half a dozen the next time and zero yesterday. Maybe ask him if he'll be getting more. That's probably the same guy you are talking about, he usually has a few PSLs.
The guy near the door had a real deal SVD/Tigr for around $2300. I got my SKS from him last year. All in all there wasn't much I was excited about. They got to cut out some of the junk tables. Tumbled Rocks? Spent less than $30 which might be a new record. Wanted to get a long barrel Saiga but the one I saw didn't have the magwell dimples I was looking for. |

Tumbled rocks?
Sure. Besides the 100 pack of targets & red dot stickies I bought from the Top Hat dude and a 12-pack of king size socks (size 15 is tough to find!), I picked up some polished fossils for my little guy. Remember being in first grade and thinking about how cool dinosaurs were? Besides, the tumbled fossils were about the only thing that was there that couldn't be bought online for significantly less. Maybe I'm spoiled by knowing about this website, Gunbroker.com, CDNNSports.com, SummitGunBroker.com, CheaperThanDirt.com and countless others, but there were no deals on handguns whatsoever. And I'm pretty sure that I know what the stuff that I'm into costs. No deals, to my knowledge, on ammo either. The aisles were cramped because the tables were placed way too far together. No transvers aisles to move between the rows, either. I do municipal trade shows several times a year for my own business and this setup today was for sardines. My first, and probably last, gun show. Nothing but a bunch of overpriced gun stealers, er, dealers selling stuff for the same high retail prices they charge in their gun stores, but to a larger audience. I have no use for these guys, either in their stores or at gun shows. Oh, yeah: half the gun show seemed to be tables covered with knives and other cutlery stuff from China.
